The weather is warming up and our free events are outside in this gorgeous sunshine. We have activities to get you out in nature, and events in town, festivals and more.

  Kids Workshop-Butterfly Biome at Lowe's-Your little scientist's first butterfly biome is also a great gift for Mom! May 4

  Amphibians of Nebraska at Schramm-Hop into the fascinating world of Nebraska frogs with state herpetologist Dennis Ferraro at the Schramm Education Center as we kick off National Amphibian Week. May 4

  54th Nebraska Czechs of Lincoln Czech Festival-  Numerous vendors will have ethnic foods including kolaches, baked goods, Czech crystal and glassware and garnet jewelry from the Czech and Slovak Republics, Czech music CD’s and so much more!  Many exhibitors will display arts and crafts from our Czech heritage.  Fun & more fun for everyone! May 5

  Bluey Family Fun Night-This month we celebrate the Heeler family by playing some of Bluey and Bingo's favorite games. May 7

  LNK OUTDOOR MOVIE NIGHT -Shark Tale-Catch Shark Tale projected larger-than-life on the side of a historic airplane hangar. Enjoy the movie from the comfort of your own vehicle or sit outside on chairs and blankets. May 10

🎤Randon Fandom: Taylor Swift-Celebrate all things Taylor Swift with other fans while making friendship bracelets. May 13

   Holy Trinity Arts Festival-This one-day event will again feature visual artists, performing artists, and floral design presentations. Children’s art activities will be scheduled throughout the day. Food vendors, a coffee truck, the UNL Dairy Store, and a beer garden will complete the festival. May 18

 2024 Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month Celebration-Join us for this free, family-friendly event! 2024 is the Year of the Dragon, and we're celebrating with cultural performances, food, activities, and more. May 19

  SCIP's 11th annual "Hop, SCIP, Jump and Run"!-Participants will have the opportunity to visit booths and activities to become eligible for prizes. For every stop made, a card will be stamped. Once the minimum number is reached, the participant will be eligible for a prize entry. May 31
