LSO Family Pass: 2 Adults and ALL Dependents for $50

October 11, 2017

Twice a year, Lincoln's Symphony Orchestra has family concerts. The concert is geared towards children with explanations given throughout, lots of engaging props and a pre-show festival. It is a great way to introduce kids to classical music.Ā

LSO is having a sale: for only $50 you get 2 adult tickets and tickets for ALL dependents for BOTH shows! To purchase your family pass click here.

The fall concert will take place on Sunday, October 22 at 2:00 PM at O'Donnell Auditorium at Nebraska Wesleyan University Campus. Treble the energetic, music-loving dog is visiting Lincolnā€™s Symphony Orchestra. Joining LSO will be actor Adam Goos, who will portray Treble as he searches for his forever home within the orchestra. This interactive performance will help children and adults alike explore the ensembleā€™s musical ā€œfamiliesā€ (woodwinds, percussion, brass, and strings). The orchestra will teach Treble (and its audience) by performing classical and popular favorites.

This all-ages, family-friendly concert will be preceded by a family festival starting at 1 p.m. in the lobby areas of the Rogers Fine Arts Center at Nebraska Wesleyan University Campus, 50th Street and Huntington Avenue. Dietze Music and Lincoln Suzuki Studios will sponsor an instrument petting zoo, and there will be games with teachers from Harris Academy of the Arts. Children can also enjoy a photo booth provided by JamesAnn Photography, face-painting, and arts and crafts provided by Lincolnā€™s Macaroni Kid. Runzaā€™s will also provide a free, half-sized Runza for all children after the performance.

The spring concert is on Sunday, March 4th and LSO will play Carnival of the Animals.Ā
