Winter Camps at the Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum

The Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum has one day and four day camps over the holiday break. One day breaks include topics like "Spy Games" where campers will learn about surveillance, how to break a code and tailing techniques, "Got Game", a coding camp where campers build their own video game and "Above & Beyond"- where time will fly by for campers with a mix of aviation and space activities. Four-day camps are a combination of topics. For example (SPY Games / Got Game? / OH SNAP! Circuitry / Above & Beyond)

Dates: Dec 26-29 and Jan 2-5

Time: Camps are 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Before & After Care is offered for $10 per student.  Before Camp Care is from 7:30 a.m. - 9 a.m. and After Camp Care is from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Any pick-up after 5:30 p.m. will be subject to additional charges.

Cost: One day camps are $75/non-member and $50/member, Four-day camps are $300/non-member and $200/member; campers receive a free t-shirt

Where: Strategic Air Command & Space Museum, 28210 West Park Highway, Ashland, NE 68003

Age Range: Campers are divided into groups, grades 1-3, and grades 4-6

Food: Campers are welcome to bring a lunch or you may purchase a box lunch for $6.00. Box lunch will include turkey & cheese sandwich, bag of chips, and Capri Sun. Questions? Contact our Education Coordinator at 402.944.3100 ext. 204 .
