A Note From the Publisher-October 10, 2019

By Mary Monahan October 10, 2019

We live in an old home and have tiny closets so we have to pack up all the summer/spring clothing and bring out all the fall/winter clothing from tubs. With the weather very quickly turning cold I decided to tackle this project on a Sunday night at 7:00 PM. This was my first mistake. I thought I could get it done in 1-2 hours, it is now Thursday, five days later, and there are still tubs in the hallway. I made many more rookie mistakes as the night went on which I blame on doing this at night, I should have done it in the morning when my mind was fresh and I hadn't used up all my patience.

Below is a compilation of some of the things that I said during the two hours before finally yelling, "That's it! I'm done. Go find your Dad."

-You have 8 pairs of black leggings?
-Make sure that that you put it in the right pile. That's the donate pile.
-Stop trying on bathing suits. That's not why we are here.

-The only things that fit you are pajamas?
-What happened to the different piles? Why is there only one pile now?
-What do you mean that you don't like black leggings anymore?

-This is not a fashion show. Put the fancy dresses back.
-How did we end up with six winter coats but no winter shoes?
-This pile is huge. Where is your brother? Is he under the pile of clothes?!

And that is why it ended the way it did.

Enjoy your weekend and if you decide to change out wardrobes give yourself four hours and start in the morning,
