We drove to Denton's Community Park playground two weeks ago and not only was the drive pretty, but the park was fun too! And with this warm December weather, it would be a good park to visit this weekend. The set-up of this park makes it great for young kids and big kids with good sightlines for parents.

PARKING AND LOCATION
- There is on-street parking all around the park.
- The Community Park is located next to the Denton Community Center at 7115 Lancaster Avenue.
SPECIAL FEATURES & PLAYGROUND NOTES
- Two separate playgrounds to accommodate a wide range of playing skills.
- The climbing wall is great for older kids.
- There are five swings-including two baby swings and one tire swing.
- There are a lot of benches surrounding the park; I loved this! Plenty of seating for caretakers.

- Full-size bathrooms are available (may not be available year-round)
- Drinking fountains are attached to the bathrooms.
- Multiple picnic tables (covered) next to the restrooms
