Shelli’s Speech, Language and Reading SPRING CLUBS and SUMMER CAMPS

March 2, 2020

Do you have a child that is struggling with reading or speech? Shelli's Speech Language and Reading offers clubs and classes for children in these areas. The classes are a great supplement for those currently in therapy.

Reading Club for New and Emerging Readers

Learning to read is hard work for children. Fortunately, research is now available that suggests how to give each child a good start in reading. Join us for a once per week, hour long class for students (parent or caregivers may come and learn as well).

Tuesdays: 3:15-4:15 PM; 5 weeks–Mar. 10-Apr. 7
This group will provide your child opportunity to learn early literacy, language, and phonological awareness skills. Kids will learn sound/letter awareness and recognition, print concepts, blending, decoding and sound substitutions during hands-on activities! (See Structured Literacy interventions as defined by the International Dyslexia Association and the NE Dyslexia Association.)
