Spring is here and with it more outdoor weather days. Each week, we will have a Park of the Week and this week it is Peterson Park! This park has a playground, swings, a pond/lake, pickle ball courts and two dog parks. It is perfect for a family that has a four legged friend 🐕
PARKING AND LOCATION
- There is lots of parking at this park, by the dog park, the pickeball courts or the playground.
- It is at Hwy 2 and 22nd ish. If you are driving by and you blink you will miss it.
SPECIAL FEATURES & PLAYGROUND NOTES
- If you have four-legged friends this is a great option for the whole family. There is a small dog park and a large dog park, both have concrete sidewalks running through them so owners can walk while dogs play.
- The is a lake/pond by the park. Kids love water but watch your little ones to make sure they don't go in.
BATHROOMS & OTHER AMENITIES
- There are no bathrooms
- There is a shelter with picnic tables to sit under.
- There are ballparks for baseball and pickleball courts
