Fall is almost here! And with it some of our favorite autumn activities: football, foliage and farms. Lincoln has so many activities and events and many are FREE, including all of the events listed below. Enjoy the end of summer and the beginning of fall.

September 2, 9, 16, 23: Hub and Soul Music Series-Tell your family/friends/colleagues, hop on your bike, and join all of us at Union Plaza starting at 5:30 PM! Local food (prepared by the Hub) and local craft beer, hard cider, and beverages will be available for purchase.

September 4: Emerge LNK: Mural + Street Art Festival-This event includes live music, food trucks, local vendors, and multiple hands-on art activities such as spray t-shirt design, sticker making, spin art, sidewalk chalk, car graffiti, protest sign design and ground canvas painting.

September 10: Scheels Husker Tailgate-Enjoy the zip line, rock climbing wall, bounce houses, giant slides, face painting, airbrush tattoos, balloon tying, photo booth, concessions, and more! 

September 11: Art in the Garden-Artists selling original work, music, dance, food, free admission, and free parking all taking place in the beautiful Sunken Gardens!

September 12: 40th All Makes Auto and Truck Show-This is a "judged show" with 60 classes and over 180 awards

September 18-19: Annual Applejack Festival-Nebraska City’s historic AppleJack Festival annually draws between 60,000 and 80,000 people to Nebraska City to celebrate the apple harvest. This year, we are spreading the celebration out over the entire harvest season, not just on one three-day stretch.

September 18: Museum Day Live-Visitors who present the Museum Day Live! ticket will gain free entrance for two at participating venues for one day only. You can go to the Durham Museum and Morrill Hall for free, among others!

September 19: Harvest Moon Festival-Join us for lantern lighting, cultural performances, Asian cuisine, live music, activities and more!

September 26: Streets Alive Festival-Festival goers can walk, bike, skate—any kind of human powered traffic— along a route where they will enjoy parks, playgrounds, community gardens, and other points of neighborhood interest in a family, child, pet, and wheelchair friendly atmosphere. Join us as we bring the Streets Alive!
