Going out with your significant other is an important part of parenting, one that my husband and I often forget about. Then, we'll go out together and remember that we still like each other :) It's just that we are usually getting someone milk, going to the store to buy milk or cleaning up spilled milk. Third Tuesday Bird Walks-Head out Spring Creek Prairie Audubon Center and go on a bird walk. You don't need to be an expert birder to attend! Just put on a pair of walking shoes. September 21.
Blacklight Yoga and Beer-You can do yoga and have a beer afterwards! These yoga sessions are for every skill level. They take place every other Thursday at Cosmic Eye Brewing and are $15. September 23.
Mini Golfing at Adventure Golf-One of the most fun date nights that my husband and I have gone on in a long time was a very competitive game of putt-putt at Adventure Golf Center. (He won.) I like Adventure Golf because it has well-established trees so even in the heat of summer there is shade.
Fall Color Hike-Near the end of September the colors of our gorgeous trees will begin to change and it is spectacular. Drive to Schramm Park (45 minutes away) to go on a 3 mile hike with your loved one. Best part? Not only it is beautiful, it's free! To read more about Schramm Park click here.
