Park of the Week: Timber Valley

By Mary Monahan June 16, 2022

We headed North for this park of the week: Timber Valley, a neighborhood park with a fun and engaging playground. My kids loved all the climbing equipment and I loved the mature trees and shade. This is a good playground bigs and littles and good sightlines.

PARKING AND LOCATION
  • Timber Valley Park is located at 3031 W Peach St
  • Parking is tricky. I actually thought we'd hit a dead end and then it turned out the park was on our right, immediately following a house. We parked on the street to access the park.

SPECIAL FEATURES & PLAYGROUND NOTES

  • Timber Valley is a great climbing structure. My kids played "floor is lava" for an hour on it.
  • There is a scavenger hunt built into the playground which is fun!

BATHROOMS & OTHER AMENITIES

  • This is a neighborhood park so there are no restrooms.
  • There is a covered shelter with two picnic tables.
  • There are benches throughout the park.
