Most Fridays in the summer, my kids and I become Water Park Warriors and we go to a water park for the afternoon. Our most recent visit was to Fremont Splash Station and everyone gave it two thumbs up! It is about one hour North from Lincoln.
Fremont Splash Station is open daily from 11:30 AM -7:00 PM. There is plenty of parking and next to the water park is a big park that we visited after the pool closed.

What is there to do at this pool?
- Two large water slides
- Small wave pool
- Beach entry
- Obstacle course
- Splash Pad
- Toddler Water Area (the train)
This pool does not have any trees providing shade but there are shaded areas and many chairs. There are concessions; you can't bring in outside food but you can leave to eat at the park and come back. Or you can have Valentino's delivered to the pool which we did for dinner.

Overall: We really liked this pool and ended up staying til closed, over five hours! It was great for little and big kids. It is clean, the lifeguards do a great job and the drive out there is beautiful. There is a great park next door to this pool that kids will also love.
