On a particularly warm winter day, I packed up my kids and pup and we went to Trendwood Park. There is a large playground, walking paths and a huge field-a great place for the whole family to gather.
|
LOCATION
- It is off of A St and 77th St. This park is a neighborhood park and can be tricky to find the entrance and parking. The public sidewalk entrance is near Davies Dr. and S 77th St. which is where we parked. From there, you walk on the path to the playground.
SPECIAL FEATURES & PLAYGROUND NOTES
- I love the large open field next to the playground. When we arrived, a group of kids were having a picnic and another group were kicking a soccer ball.
- My dog and I walked and walked at this park. There are sidewalks running throughout it.
- This park can accommodate toddlers through elementary aged-it is big.
- There are lots of big trees near the park-perfect on hot summer days.
BATHROOMS, PARKING & OTHER AMENITIES
- There are no bathrooms at this park and no water fountains.
- There are benches and tables. Lots of places to sit.
