When my husband and I walked through the gates at Hazel Abel Park, I felt like I had gone back in time to the early 1900s. It is beautiful! Even the trash cans are beautiful and when can you say that about a trash can? It is a small manicured park with brick sidewalks, a fountain, benches, a small play ground and is reminiscent of a bygone time. We visited on a cold, spring day; I can't wait to see it in the summer in full bloom. The next time I go, I will dress nicer because this park is fancy and I just love it.

- It would be great for small gatherings and is a photographers dream.
- So many benches to sit and reflect on this gem in the city
- It is fenced! Halllelujah-not many parks are fenced.
- Small, compact playground for little ones
- There are lots of trees near the park-perfect on hot summer days.

- There are no bathrooms at this park and no water fountains but there is a beautiful fountain.
