10 FREE Events in March

Lincoln is home to a lot of great family friendly events and many of the events are free. You can use the money that you save to go out with your special someone or do something nice for yourself.

  March 12: M is for Mushrooms, Mycelium and March at Schramm Education Center-We’ll hike around the park looking for all kinds of fungi, lichen and non-vascular plants. If you don’t know what these are, then this program is for you.

   March 12: Preschool Storytime with Special Guests from Lincoln's Symphony Orchestra- Presenters share stories, songs, and other activities that support language development, build vocabulary, and instill a love of books.

  March 13: Phone Pop Up Craft at Eiseley (Teens)-Pop in over break and decorate a new pop socket. We will provide the materials but feel free to bring photos and stickers that you might want to use, too.

  March 16: National Quilting Day-This community event includes free museum admission and demonstrations, special lectures and displays, as well as access to the current exhibitions. 

  March 19: National Ag Day Celebration at Lincoln Children's Museum-Enjoy an evening of play and activities with real Nebraska farmers in the Museum's all-new Here We Grow exhibit.

 March 22-23: Cornhusker Classic Antique Tractor Pull Association Qualifier-Cheer on your fave tractor! Tractor Pulling is a motorposrt where distance isn't the goal but how strong a machine is.

  March 23: Inspire Girls 2024-Bring your friends and spend a fun filled afternoon that includes speakers, activities, prizes, entertainment, vendors & more. Inspire Girls is aimed toward empowering and educating pre-teen and teenage girls in the Lincoln community.

  March 23: Women in Sports-In celebration of Women's History Month, help us celebrate with women student athletes from UNL. We will have a Q and A session followed by time for autographs and photos.

  March 23: Babe Lincoln Expo-From meeting professional service providers, to learning about community resources, to shopping, the expo is a one-stop-shop for everything your growing family needs. 

  March 23: Morrow Collision Center 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt-MCC, and our Lincoln small business friends, are excited to present our 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt!
