General: UNL doctoral candidate Kendall Willems is conducting her dissertation and looking for participants! Research study involves teaching young autistic children (ages 4-7) letter-sounds, and how that can potentially generalize to sounding out words.
Procedure: Participants will complete 30-minute phonics lessons using a tablet in-person for a minimum of 9 consecutive weeks.
Benefits/Compensation: Participants will also receive $50. Study may lead to participants becoming better readers.
