UNL Research Study on Phonics Instruction for Children with Autism

GeneralUNL doctoral candidate Kendall Willems is conducting her dissertation and looking for participants! Research study involves teaching young autistic children (ages 4-7) letter-sounds, and how that can potentially generalize to sounding out words. 

Procedure: Participants will complete 30-minute phonics lessons using a tablet in-person for a minimum of 9 consecutive weeks.

Benefits/Compensation: Participants will also receive $50. Study may lead to participants becoming better readers.
