4. Winter Birding
February is National Bird Feed Month and The Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC) is a free, fun, and easy event. Participants (young and old) are asked to count birds and then report the number to give an accurate and real-time snap shot of our bird populations. Price: FREE
5. Snow Shoeing
With snow shoes you can really explore the outdoors after a big snow storm! UNL Campus Recreation rents out snow shoes. Price: $16/person (includes poles)
