Did you know that it takes 1800 gallons of water to make one pair on new blue jeans? One pair!
The simple act of buying secondhand clothing is one of the "greenest" things that a family can do. By buying used clothing you are not only saving resources (those 1800 gallons can be used as drinking water) you are also reducing waste by keeping one pair of jeans out of the landfill.
At times, when reading reports on the environment and waste it is easy to become overwhelmed and to just ignore it but this is an actual step that can make a huge difference.
Spring cleaning? Decluttering? Cleaning out closets? Take those items to a second-hand store in Lincoln. You can help the environment and maybe make a little extra cash.
Here are my favorite second-hand shops in Lincoln for our family!
