Remember going to the drive-in? We would go in our pajamas, our mom would pack tons of snacks and popcorn and we'd settle into the car for two movies. The first movie was usually for kids and the second was for adults (assuming the kids were asleep). The drive-in in my town had a playground and a giant pile of rocks for kids to climb (and fall off of). There aren't many drive-ins anymore but there are outdoor movies! Enjoy a night under the stars watching a movie.
Movies in the Park with Lincoln Parks and Rec
Grab your blanket or a few chairs and come out for a free family friend movie in the park. Movies are free. In the case of inclement weather the movies will be moved inside the Recreation Center. Movies will begin around 8:45-9:00 p.m. depending on sunset. Sponsored by Lincoln Parks and Recreation and the Lincoln Parks Foundation.

Lincoln Airport
Throughout the summer the Lincoln Airport offers outdoor movies that you watch from your car. There are fun activities and food trucks! These movies are free but you need to RSVP to hold your car's spot. Check our calendar for the RSVP link. The location is 3801 NW 34th St, Lincoln, NE 68524.

Trinity Lutheran Movie Night
Everyone is welcome to Trinity's free, outdoor movie nights! We hope you join us at 8PM for food and activities, and the movie will start at dark. There will be games, hot dogs, watermelon, ice cream, and more! Feel free to bring blankets, chairs, and pillows to get comfy and enjoy the movie!
