Fall Break Camps and Classes in Lincoln 2025

If you have children at LPS, there is a four day break coming up (October 11-October 14).  Looking for childcare or a camp for Fall Break? We have lots of options for you.

Morrill Hall

Monday, October 13 | 8:00 am - 5:00 pm | Ages 6-8 | Members: $65/member, $85/non-member-Galaxy Explorers
Tuesday, October 14 | 8:00 am - 5:00 pm | Ages 9-11 | Members: $65/member, $85/non-member-Nebraska Paleontology Adventures

In Galaxy Explorers, campers will learn about the highly specialized mission control facility and team of people who coordinate and carry out space missions. At Nebraska Paleontology Adventures, with the help of our resident paleontologists, Campers will get to explore ancient life throughout the Museum and will complete their own fossil dig. When classes are canceled, camp is on! We provide a full day of stellar camp programming, complete with crafts, swimming and sports!  For children ages 5-12. Register here.

Lincoln Children's Museum

Tuesday, October 14 | 8:00 am - 4:30 pm | Members: $50/member, $70/non-member-Merry, Not Scary Halloween Party

Guaranteed to be full of play and learning, these fun-filled camps are offered all summer long as well as when LPS is out of session during the school year. Add lunch for $6.50 per day per child. Register here.

Lincoln Parks and Recreation

Monday, October 13  | 6:30 am - 5:30 pm | $45/day
Tuesday, October 14 | 6:30 am - 5:30 pm | $45/day

Join us for supervised play when school is not in session. Organized games, crafts, occasional field trips and selected activities. Children must bring a sack lunch, drink and tennis shoes. An afternoon snack will be provided. Fall break camps are at two locations: Belmont Recreation Center and Calvert Recreation Center. Children in K-5 may be signed up. Register here.

LUX Center for the Arts

Monday, October 13-14 (two day camp)| 9:00 AM-12 noon or 2:00 PM-5:00 PM | $72-85/camp

Immerse your child in creative fun at Lincoln's LUX Center for the Arts! Each day campers will explore new art techniques, work with real artists, and make their own artwork while learning and refining their own artistic abilities. LUX summer camps are led by our skilled teaching artists who will guide your child through hands-on learning in a fun and friendly environment.  K-15. Register here.

My Gym

At  My Gym camp we activate the fun every single day – SO LET THE FUN  BEGIN! Energizing games, exciting gymnastics, cool arts and crafts, and  music that guarantees to keep them moving and engaged. Pioneers Park-Fall Fun Days

Hike, explore, and adventure at the Pioneers Park Nature Center. Nature Day Camps are designed for elementary age participants (grades K-5) to  inspire curiosity and build understanding of others and their  surroundings through guidance of caring staff, featuring the outdoors, and natural wonder. YMCA Out of School Days


Monday, October 13 | 7:15 am - 5:45 pm | $37/day for YMCA members and $62/day for non-YMCA members
Tuesday, October 14 | 7:15 am - 5:45 pm | $37/day for YMCA members and $62/day for non-YMCA members

YMCA Out of School Days is a licensed child care program offered at the Cooper, Copple Family, Fallbrook and Northeast YMCA locations on some  Lincoln Public Schools non-school days for youth in Kindergarten through age 13. Program staff plan fun and developmentally appropriate  activities. Activities include crafts, games, gym time, and/or swimming!  On each Out of School Day, participants should come to the Y with a  swimming suit and sack lunch. Register here.
