Day camps at Morrill Hall are hands-on, minds-on experiences where campers explore various natural history and science topics through engaging activities. Each camp is led by UNSM's educators, with potential opportunities to engage with our museum researchers and guest speakers.
The University of Nebraska State Museum-Morrill Hall is excited to provide a variety of summer learning opportunities for campers who have completed Kindergarten-8th grade, offering half offering half-day camps (9 a.m.-12 p.m.), and full day camps 9am - 4pm (drop off begins at 8am, pick-up by 5pm).
Summer camp programs begin the week of June 1 and run through the end of July for many weeks of discovery, learning and fun!
Half-Day Camp themes include: Junior Paleontologist, Astronomical Adventures, What's Buggin' You, Art in Science, Science Sleuths, Anthropology-First Peoples of the Plains, Sea Creatures-Modern and Ancient.
Full-Day Camp themes include: Exhibition Mashup, Nebraska Naturalists in Training, Rocks Rock!, Steam-Learning Through Experimentation, Forensic Entomology-SCI Through Insects, Earthforce-Community in Action and more!
Camp themes include: Astronomical adventures, Forensic Entomology, Art in Science, and Mammoths, Mosasaur and Maschops, Oh My!
Age Range: completed Kindergarten-8th grade. Groups are ages 6-8, ages 9-11, and ages 12-14.
Hours:
-Full day 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. (drop off begins at 8am, pick-up by 5pm)
-Half day 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

Half-Day Camp $135 per camp - Members | $155 per camp - Nonmembers
Full-Day Camp $270 per camp - Members | $300 per camp - Nonmembers
