Take learning beyond the classroom! Bright Lights provides unique, motivating, hands-on summer learning camps for K-8th grade students.
Bright Lights works to provide a friendly and engaging learning environment for K-8th grade students. With unique topics and curriculum, students can pursue fields of interest with others who share that same curiosity and enthusiasm. The range of ages per camp is generally limited to two or three grade levels. With a low teacher-student ratio of 1:7, students can expect plenty of attention.
The camps consist of a wide variety of topics and incorporate STEAM-infused activities or curriculum (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) in almost all of them, including the literature, social studies and outdoor education camps.
The block time structure (three-hour, half-day camps or seven-hour, full-day camps) provides students with time for exploration and in-depth study. Field trips, experimentation, problem solving, creative thinking, collaboration and exploration - there is time for all of this and so much more.

Business Review
My daughter attended a Bright Lights: Summer Learning Adventures camp in the summer of 2016 and it was great! These camps are engaging and well-organized. The camps are themed for a week (she picked "Are You Fancy Like Nancy?"), her leader was an LPS chemistry teacher and every day was something new and fun.
She came home with handmade soaps (which she won't allow us to use) and lipgloss, a scrap book of her week and stories about her day. The kids get a snack half way through the afternoon or morning and a recess break.
At the end of the week, parents are invited to attend your child's camp for the last 45 minutes and get an idea of what they've been doing all week. We attended a tea party and got to dress up with our kids.
Our only problem is picking which camp she'll go to this year. There are too many good ones to choose from!
