CAMP SONSHINE OVERALL GENERAL INFO
What can I expect the experience to be like? Whatever program you choose, every camper will be a part of a small group led by one of our friendly, well-trained staff who will be engaged and actively involved all day long. We plan each session to include as many exciting activities as possible. When the counselor is fully involved in the activities and conversations within the group, any notion of undesired behavior is addressed right away. This leads to an environment free of bullying and worry for all! We call this "Active Supervision." Ask us about Active Imagination & Active Community!
What will your child do at Camp Sonshine day camp programs? Where do we even start?! All you provide is lunch and we provide all the fun! Archery, go karts, swimming, playing on bounce houses, arts and crafts, outdoor cooking, petting zoo, sports and water games, trail hikes and more! Older campers get to do more independent and specialized activities like kayaking, fishing, axe throwing, and off-road go karting, electives, and day trips to different Camp Sonshine properties for a variety of activities!
What will your child do at Camp Sonshine overnight camp programs? Our overnight campers get to do many of the same activities, but at a more specialized level! Not to mention aerial park, stand up paddle boarding, fishing, WAVE games, archery tag, maker's station, electives, team building, and call our dorm-style residences home for the week!
What should I do if I want to know more?! We love getting to know people! Join us for our Open House on May 7 at Sonshine (13440 S 25th St.) or schedule a tour at either site with our office by giving us a call at 402-423-8746!

Business Review
"We’ve been attending several years, at first we needed childcare but now that she’s older and even though we no longer need that we continue to send her because of the bonds she forms with her counselors and the age appropriate activities. These counselors have become like older sisters to her and such great role models. LIFE CHANGING!"
"As a parent, it makes me feel great knowing that my child is in the care of someone that shows them genuine love and care, as you did. Thank you for your hard work this summer! You will never know how beautifully sprouted the seeds you have planted will someday become."
