Area: Located in Northwest Lincoln off of Judson & 12th St, Belmont Park is nestled in between Belmont Community Center and Belmont Recreation Center. It is a very large park and in the summer, Belmont Pool also in the park, is open.
Directions and Parking: There is no parking directly in front of the play area but there is parking at the Belmont Community Center and Belmont Recreation Center, both of which flank the sides of the playground section of the park.
Playground: While not a large playground, this play area has something that most parks don't have-a dinosaur skeleton! As soon as my kids saw this, they all got excited. Along with the prehistoric addition, there is a playground and two slides. The park has sand and concrete, bring your sand toys and chalk along with you.
Bathrooms: There are no public bathrooms. The other people at the park told me that if you ask nicely you can use the restrooms at the community center and the recreation center.
Other: I really liked this park for the sight lines. There are trails throughout the large green space and from the playground, I could see the trails but also keep an eye on my kids on the play structure. There is lots of room to run too.
Overall: I liked the playground because of the dinosaur, the trails and the sight lines, it is different and we enjoyed playing there.
