Connect Camps are not your ordinary camps. All camps are led by pediatric occupational therapists and we work on things that will make a BIG difference in a child's life. We have to camp to address picky eating and difficulties with staying calm. We also have camps that help kindergarteners learn the helpful skills for starting school and a camp for kids to work on attention/focus, handwriting, executive function and social skills needed to be successful in school. It's amazing how much progress kids make when they work on skills together!
- Camps will be held at Connect Pediatric Therapy clinic (7223 Kentwell Lane)
- Camp weeks are June 10th-14th, July 15th-19th, and July 29th-August 2nd
- Camps are 3 hours in duration from 9:00a-12:00p
- Families can sign their child up for one camp or multiple camps
- These are not your average summer camps
- All camps led by experienced pediatric occupational therapists
- Camp size is limited to 6 students to create a small group experience that allows for growth and attention to each child
- Camps will fill on a first come first serve basis.
- Your child will be placed on a waiting list if the camp is full. Another week of camp may be added if we have enough interest

Food with Friends
This camp is an intensive for children who struggle with feeding and/or social skills. Children will work with a feeding therapist using a mutli-senosry approach Kids will learn how to have positive interactions with food alongside other kids with similar anxiety/struggles. This camp is also ideal for kids that are picky eaters and would benefit from being with peers to learn that Food is Fun! They will also work on social skills and problem solving.
This camp is ideal for:
- Children ages 4-7 and 8-13 (we plan to have separate groups for each age range)
- Children who are learning to interact with peers with minimal assistance from an adult
- Child can sit for 5 minutes without adult redirection

Superheroes of Self Regulation
This camp is designed for kids that struggle with frequent meltdowns and have difficulty with self calming. We use the Zones of Regulation and Social Thinking curriculums which teaches children about SuperFlex and Rock Brain. Children will work in groups of 4-6 to learn strategies to stay calm in tough situations. They will also work on social skills and problem solving.
This camp is ideal for:
- Children ages 4-7 and 8-13 (we will have separate groups for each age range)
- Children who are learning to interact with peers with minimal assistance from an adult
- Child can sit for 5 minutes without adult redirection

Jump Start Kindergarten
This camp is focused on learning routines and skills associated with going to school such as: Handwriting, Attention/Focus, Following Directions, Peer Interactions and Play Skills.
This camp is ideal for:
- Children aged 4-6 (especially kids that will be starting kindergarten in the fall)

Back-to-School Boot Camp
This camp is focused on empowering children to get back into school routines and sharpen their academic skills, including: Handwriting, Attention/Focus, Peer Interactions, Play Skills and Executive Functioning.
This camp is ideal for:
- Children ages 6-10
- Children who are able to interact with peers with minimal assistance from an adult
- Child can sit for 5-10 minutes without adult redirection
