Notes regarding time
4-7 PMDescription
Does your child enjoy art projects? Especially free ones? With delicious cookies available to eat nearby?
Join us at the International Quilt Museum on October 6th from 4-7PM! Come create a paper Mola art project, inspired by the Guna People of Panama! Then explore our Beavers Gallery, where several real Molas will be displayed! After your art project, roam the galleries, complete a scavenger hunt, and don't forget to check out our 3rd floor Ghormley Reading Room for hands on activities like magna-tiles, coloring pages, design blocks, and children's books. Interested in the adult portion of this evening? Join us on for a special gallery walk-through with IQM’s Curator of International Collections Marin Hanson at 5:30, who will be showing IQM's newest exhibition, A New Deal for Quilts.
