Join us on April 5th from 4-7 p.m. for FREE admission, refreshments, art project, and jazz concert at the International Quilt Museum! There will also be a scavenger hunt where kids can roam the galleries looking for quilts and images; when they find them all, go to the front desk for a prize! Have little kids? Visit our 3rd floor for magna-tiles, coloring, tangrams, building materials, and more! For the art project, we will be using glue sticks, tissue paper, feathers, colored pencils, sequins and googly eyes to create our own birds, inspired by Sue Spargo's quilt titled, "Of a Feather," currently displayed in our Pumphrey Gallery. At 6:00 p.m. there will be a special jazz concert performed by students from Doane University. We hope to see you there!
