Sheridan Lutheran Church warmly invites the community to join in the spirit of the Advent season at a special Advent Event on Wednesday, December 4, from 5 to 8 PM.
This family-friendly evening will offer guests of all ages a chance to explore the stories and traditions of Advent through engaging activities, shared fellowship, and a reflective worship experience. Guests can look forward to waffles served by the Waffleman, with proceeds supporting the 2025 Youth Mission Trip.
Alongside a delicious meal, guests will enjoy various hands-on activities, such as assembling Christmas cookie kits for local outreach efforts through Barnabas Community, creating a kindness tree, and engaging in Zentangle meditation.
The evening is designed to deepen the meaning of Advent, a season of waiting and preparation, and includes a 30-minute intergenerational worship service at 6:00 PM, inspiring all ages to celebrate together.
