Description
Celebrate World Wetlands Day with a winter hike at Frank Shoemaker Marsh as the Snow Moon rises! Connect with nature through a guided hike and prompts to reflect by creating sketches and writings about the wetlands while observing the February full moon. Wetland experts will also be there to help you learn about wetland ecology.
Art materials and paper will be available. You are welcome to bring your own materials and a journal.
There is limited space in the parking lot. We encourage carpooling.
Accessibility info: There will be about 30 minutes of walking of 10-minute intervals with breaks in between . The trails are unpaved. There are no restrooms available at Shoemaker Marsh.
