Description
Join Nebraska Game and Parks at Pioneers Park Nature Center as we explore the biodiversity of the wetlands and surrounding ecosystems. Biologists and environmental educators will lead sessions exploring different parts of the ecosystem. You’ll gain tools to do citizen science and species identification. You are invited to stay for the whole event or just stop by for one session.

7:30 a.m. – Check-in Opens
7:30-9 a.m. – Bird Hike
9-10 a.m. – Macro Invertebrate Exploration
10-11:30 a.m. – Reptiles & Amphibians Exploration
11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – Lunch (on your own)
12:30-1:30 p.m. – Pollinators Exploration
1:30-2:30 p.m. – Plant Hike
3-3:30 p.m. – Tally Results & Recap
