Pokémon turns 25 this week! It has evolved from a card game to a TV show to Pokémon Go over two and a half decades. How can you celebrate?
1) P25 Music
Pokémon has teamed up with Katy Perry and a variety of musicians to create special music themed around Pokémon.
2) Virtual concert featuring Post Malone
Feb. 27 is Pokémon Day, the official birthday of the franchise. Post Malone will be celebrating with Pokémon in a virtual concert. so Pokémon is teaming up with musician Post Malone to celebrate with a virtual concert.
3) Exclusive in-game Pikachu
On Thursday, Feb. 25, Pokémon will distribute a password that will allow players of the "Pokémon Sword" and "Pokémon Shield" video games to add a special Pikachu to their game play. Even more fun? Because this year is a year of music, the character will know a special "sing" move, which it ordinarily cannot learn within the game.
4) Pokémon Go: Kanto event
To help celebrate, the mobile game Pokémon Go, which also celebrates its fifth anniversary this year, a Kanto-themed "raid day" also is scheduled for Feb. 28.

6) New Episodes
On Feb. 27, Poké-fans also will be able to watch a special selection of curated music-themed episodes of the Pokémon animated series on the Pokémon TV website.

For a limited time, McDonald's Happy Meals will come with a booster pack of Pokémon trading cards. The cards all feature the Pokémon 25 logo and and highlight some of the original Pokémon, including Pikachu. Get to trading!
