It is going to be HOT this weekend so we are looking for water fun and air conditioning.
1. Go to Mahoney Water Park and cool off in the wave pool!
2. Cheer on the finalists in National High School Finals Rodeo. Saturday, July 24th is the final day of competition.
3. Laugh it up at Addams Family Musical at Pinewood Bowl: July 22-25
4. Go bowling
5. Check out one of our area's splashpads. We really like Platte River's splash pad.
6. Splash at Family Swim on Friday, July 23 at one of four area pools. Family Swim is only $9 for the whole family.
7. Watch Disney's newest princess movie: Raya and the Last Dragon, outside on the big screen on Friday, July 23.
8. Splash in a creek! Pioneers Park is home to Haines Branch which is a fave of ours.
9. Love Legos? Go to Brick Days at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
10. Go to Morrill Hall and check out the dinosaurs (and air conditioning).
11. Lincoln Community Playhouse is putting on a 30 minute Cinderella play.
12. Go to Lincoln City Library and finish the summer reading program.
13. Head to Prairie Pines on Saturday, July 24 and explore is 145 acres of land.
14. Party in the Park with a bounce house, face painting, balloon animals, food trucks, family activities, music and more!
15. Watch the Olympics! (That is what I'll be doing!)
